GRAND PRAIRIE
History:
1993 Incorporated to
manufacture high quality, specialty metal parts beginning with
metal frames for use on Harley-Davidson saddlebags. (Still a
valued portion of our business).
1995:
A larger facility with warehousing is purchased. The manufacture of a few
projects for “high end” boutiques leads to orders for increasingly complex
fixtures, entry systems and interior components.
2000:
A nearby building is leased to use for a millwork shop. Glasswork is added
and we can now supply our customers with all types of millwork.
2001:
Expansion is made to a five-acre site adjacent to the local airport. The
site includes a modern 36,000 Sq. Ft. facility equipped with overhead
cranes. A machine shop is added. All operations are now consolidated under
one roof.
2002:
The building quickly fills with additional equipment and we are now
producing furniture, millwork, and storefront packages.
2004:
Space within the building is partitioned off and climate controlled to
provide a better workplace for our craftsmen and to provide a stable
environment for materials.
2005:
A computerized shear and a high speed cut off saw are purchased to further
improve delivery of product.
2006:
The Engineering and Manufacturing staff is expanded.
In keeping with the
store fixture line of business,
we have decided to conduct future projects under a more descriptive trade
name: STOREWORKS
